To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, will either have you eating a whole pint of Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream or throwing the remote at your tv.

You’re sitting down and you decide to put on Netflix. This is the time where you struggle to put on something to watch, especially when you’re looking for a romance movie. Well I am here to help because I have the perfect romance movie that has come out this year.
To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is what you want to watch if you’re in the mood for cute and sappy love. Or if you’re in the mood to yell at your tv because Lara Jean, played by Lana Condor, didn’t choose the right man.
Now you have to watch To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before which is the first movie to the sequel.
The movie is based on these letters that Lara Jean’s love letters are exposed and wreck where they create havoc on her personal life. These letters were sent to all of her past loves and now this is where the suspenseful love story begins. A love letter gets to Peter Kavinsky, played by Noah Centineo, and this is where they start fake dating so that he could make his ex-girlfriend jealous. This didn’t really go as planned because feelings started to become real between Peter and Lara Jean, that’s where the sequel comes in and now they are officially together in the new movie. Things start to unravel in their relationship within the sequel and looks like another love interest will become a conflict between Peter and Lara Jean. That conflict is John Ambrose McClaren, played by Jordan Fisher, and seems that he is going to replace Peter for Lara Jean’s hand.
See I could give you the details and explanation on the first movie, but really you just have to go watch it yourself. This movie review is about To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, my thoughts on Lara Jean having to choose between two guys and picking the wrong one.
Now in this movie we find out secrets that were kept from Lara Jean by Peter. Clearly the red flags were there and she started to pay attention to those. He wasn’t really a great boyfriend and was keeping things from Lara Jean. It definitely made me upset that these secrets were starting to unravel in their relationship.
Let’s talk about the secret that no one saw coming. If you didn’t see the first movie well here’s a snippet of what happens in the hot tub scene.
Now in that scene, clearly this is where their feelings start to become true to one another.
*Spoiler Alert*
Peter was actually waiting for his ex-girlfriend Gen, not Lara Jean at the hot tub. She clearly is not happy about finding that out and their relationship ends. You would think that there is no going back because in the movie she kisses John Ambrose. Well they play with your emotions because after kissing John Ambrose she realizes that she wants to be with Peter.
WHAT! Lara Jean, no, Peter needs to be cancelled in your life and I wasn’t the only one who thought that. Twitter had a lot to say about her decision of picking the wrong man. I even created a poll on who my followers thought she should have picked instead but Peter still won in the hearts of my followers.

Obviously they will be creating another sequel but will Lara Jean and Peter’s relationship be in jeopardy? Or will there be another John Ambrose to get in the way?
